Learning objectives

All the students, at the end of the course, will be able to:
- Integrate the basic functions of a standard microwave systems, like sensor networks or wireless local area networks, or GSM standards * through theoretical works.
- Carry out the basic concepts through practical experiments, by groups of two students.
- Apprehend a suitable approach for a professional simulation software (ADS, Advanced Design System), either individually or by groups of two students.
- Combine the above skills in order to simulate the performance of a simple radio system in the case of a connected object of limited complexity.

*Opération soutenue par l’État dans le cadre de l’AMI « Compétences et Métiers d’Avenir » du Programme France 2030, opéré par la Caisse des Dépôts
