- Wireless local area networks: Usage, standards, evolution
- Wireless physical layer basics and trends
- In depth analysis of Bluetooth, Zigbee and Wifi
- WiMAX (fixed and mobile versions – 802.16d and e) and sensor networks: theory and practice
- Introduction to RF ID
- Usage of modern radio design tools such as Simulink and Labview
- Practice with Wimax networks, Wifi security, manipulate logic analyser
- Practice with Simulink & Agilent LA
Evaluation
Continuous evaluation based on lab assignments (CC), presence (P) and a written exam (EX)
Final grade = Average(3*EX+CC+P)
